I bought their Solaris invisibulbs for my front and rear turns and did the invisi xenon white ones for reverse, nice quality, no complaints and they ship fast!

Just bought the updated E70 illuminated shifter. Should be here next Monday. I just updated all my interior wood trim to the piano black and thought that shifter would look nice. If it totally sucks I'll chuck it in the garbage and go back to the black leather.

I was just looking at that actually.....thinking if there was a way to make use of the side button as a more ergonomically positioned kill for the PDC. First things first though, let me know if that side "button" actually moves or if its just an extruding piece of plastic.

Will do. I like where your head is at. Seems if those buttons actually move we can use them for something.

Went at read the literature...

Notes / Warnings

The Parking button at the top is non-functioning and does not suppress. Likewise the side button does not function or suppress when pushed.

On top of that, the "+" and "-" signs for the steptronic are backwards on the illuminated model for the E53.....Bummer.

the "+" and "-" on that shifter coincide with 4.6 and 4.8 iS pattern, which is opposite from normal E53

Term, you are correct. I was quite pleased when I saw that.

I would have thought they were the same! I was always under the impression that pull to upshift and push to down shift was the "correct" orientation as it coincides with the momentum of the vehicle? Of all the X models I would have expected this to be the case, especially in the 4.6 & 4.8's. Weird!

I'd be all over the heated shifter idea!
