e53 lumbar support switch

hello all - i have a 2004 e53 (x5) and my driver's side lumbar support stopped working. i pulled off the seat switch side cover panel and discovered the 2 wires leading from the harness to the pin connector have come loose. the pin connector is cracked and i have purchased a new one. my issue is i do not know where the brown and red wire connect to. it is a 3 pin connector.

pin 1 = ?
pin 2 = not used
pin 3 = ?

i have included pics. can anybody help me make the connection? is it the same as on the passenger side. i do not want to blow any modules by reversing the wires.

cheers,
m.

is this a 3-pin or 6-pin connector? the WDS shows a 6-pin connector for this application

hi terminaror - thank you for your reply. the 6 pin is the one towards the front of the vehicle which handles the lumbar switch. the 3 pin is the voltage supply to the switch and ground (brown and red wires) and is the one towards the rear of the vehicle.

cheers, m.

Fixed the wire issue. Brown wire goes to pin 1 and red wire goesno pin 3. Love the lumbar support!
