Trouble resetting 2001 X5 Oil Change Lights

Hello,

I hope that someone can help me.

I am trying to reset my Oil Change lights on my 2001 X5 3.0. I have tried this and it did not work:

In the above instructions it says to use the left "odometer reset" button - implying that there is also a right button. My X5 only has one button on the instrument panel. Could there be another button that I should be pressing? Also, I am able to get to the "test" mode but not the reset mode.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
