Sorry for the repeated replies...multi quote is not working for me right now...Terminator, yes it's actually only about 1/4 of the rear glass that actually gets defrosted at all, so it's not totally inop. i'll try the repair of that one small portion first and will post an update.

Just to clarify, the FZV {amp} is actually ON the rear hatch itself, top part right under the center plastic trim panel, the panel is held on with i think 6 or 7 metal clips, just pull with authority on each one and it'll pull off.
