You probably got air in the ABS system. Power bleeding will not get rid of the air. You need to use software to turn the ABS system on and off to purge any air that is in the ABS. Think of the ABS as another master cylinder that pulse the brake so that they don't lock

Do you know where can I take my car to got the air out in the ABS system? I do not want to take the BMW dealership. I would appreciate if you has some place that do the service. I am in baltimore, MD and if not probable take to the bmw dealership.
My 2001 BMW X5 3.0 had 178K miles on it and the car run great except these lights.

Thanks,
uhenry1

It could be a wheel speed sensor as well. Happened to me on my e46 which was very annoying but relatively easy to replace. On the e46 if the spedo didnt work then it was a rear wheel speed sensor. If cruise control didnt work it was the front sensor.

Any BMW specialist should have the software to bleed the ABS module.

Have you tried to drive after you did this? If not, go for a short spin, then report back.
