Help With Shake

Hello all. So yesterday I replaced a few parts:

Idler Pulley
Both Belt Tensioners ( non hydraulic )
Pass Side Sway Bar Link

After I completed the job I noticed that now my water pump is on its way out also (I guess it's water pump season as I see a few others needing this repair). So I will get to that next weekend. Problem I am having now is a shake while on D (drive) and stopped. As I am driving I don't feel it, but while stopped at a light or stop sign with brakes engaged the vehicles starts to do the "Harlem shake". If I move shifter to N (neutral) it stops. If vehicle is on P (parked) it doesn't shake. No warning lights on cluster. I'm at 126k miles and this is annoying, specially when a few door clips need replacement.

If anyone has any input please chime in.

Cis,

Did you have someone put it in drive and smash the break while you looked under the hood? I am assuming that shake wasn't there before so it shouldn't be now. Sounds like the shake only happens while the X is under load.

By elimination, the Swing arms (Sway bar link) will not have that effect... but the pulley and tensioner might.

Yea first check the motor mounts. Might need to be replaced. Next i would check the throttle body. Oberve the rpms. I just had my water pump and pullys and belts changed but not experinceing shake. Instead my car starts slowwing down as soon i let off the gas. Unusual but i think its because its 4wd system.

The shake was there previously, but not as noticeable. I have not had anyone smash/brake/look. But could be engine mounts being that I've never done them and have no info of previous owners service.

Ok,

Have someone help you with this then. Place in drive, hit ebrake and someone smash on the brake and throttle the gas. If you see excessive engine movement, then the mounts are shot.

I may be picturing it wrong, but it sounds like the vibration might be from the main pulley. While you are there, check to see if the VD is spinning true and not all gobbadeal.

Main pulley being my harmonic balancer?

Got this sorted out today. Apparently my fan clutch was not aligned properly therefore causing the "Harlem Shake". She's smoother than a baby's bottom now.
