3 Quick questions..

1- What exactly is th function of the Servotronic?

2- Getting on the highway today my car Accelerated like never before (3rd Gear) it felt like 50 extra horsepower got added randomly. It was a small downhill slope though and it did look like for a sec it hit 7k ish RPM but i wasnt looking for long at that (just looked down to see what was up). I liked it

3- Does the "objects in mirror.." supposed to be written on both side mirrors or just the right one?

Spasibo!

1)I beleive the servotronic aids with the low speed maneuverability. (Softens up steering at slow speeds, an the opposite as you get going)

2)unsure

3) Correct, only one side says the "objects in mirror" stuff.

Ditto...the "objects in mirror" is only on the passenger side "convex" mirror sold here in the USA (perhaps Canada).

Other parts of the world are smarter ...thus don't need instructions to explain what is obviously visible...and they don't have instructions written on their passenger side mirror...regardless if it is the aspherical "wide angle" mirror or the "convex" mirror:

You can see in the diagram below...that mirror's #2 (convex) & #1 (wide angle) have no writing on it. Yet the USA's convex mirror...mirror #3 & a mirror that looks like Arabic (#5) writing on it is used here and there...whereas the plain mirror #4 (with 1:1 reflective ratio) is used mostly here in the State (and again, perhaps Canada) only on the driver's side:

BTW...if you can spring for the cost...using the wide angle mirrors on both driver & passenger side...is the BOSS!!!. I love it...there are NO blind spots at all:

(wide angle mirror (#1) has NO writing on it)

Thanks X5SND! and Qsilver i know! they are pretty sweet, my uncles Peugeot 307 has it.

TIL that my side mirrors are not both the same reflect wise.

Also the way i eliminate blindspots is:
Move head to window adjust mirror so that the side of car bearly showing.'
then move head to center of car and do the same on the passengers mirror.
No more blind spots, however itll take alittle bit getting used to but now i love it.
(BMW performance center taught me that)

Haha, that "objects may appear...." non-sense isn't so much a set of instructions as it's an ass saver from a law suit because someone doesn't know how to drive! (and we know there's plenty of those around!)
