Anybody run a projector LED as a fog light?

Am I crazy? Is this possible to do?

Dont know about projector led, but you can buy projectors and retrofit them into the foglight housings if you wish.

If your new to "retrofitting" this is a great site where you can look at the possibilties and they also sell high quality stuff and everything you need to do it.

the projector fogs are usually "deep" units, you have "short" Valeos. they usually swappable, but on the right side there might be a vent tube getting in the way on V8 models... mine is 4.8iS, it might not be case for you...

Not so sure about "LED" projectors - is it the latest technology in headlights they are talking about, or it is just the regular LEDs?

I would buy the OE projector housings and drop a 35w HID kit into them if I were you

Looks nice! The white turn signals I don't think are legal here in the states, also don't know if I'm going for that look (or are you in the states and riding dirty? . Will order the projector h11 ddms, put them in fogs and see how it looks. What AE's are u using? They look great

I use the DEPO Projector fog from the 2002 Sport x5. You do need to modify the passenger side intake duct.

Also they take H3, so you will need to mod the wiring harness.

Looks great!

to modify wiring harness on the LCI E53 that is using a free form fogs to accept the factory ellipsoid/projector Valeo housing you need the following parts:

61138364836 - the contacts - $0.35 - 4 pieces
61138369722 - the grommets - $0.42 - 4 pieces
61138373332 - the housing - $5.70 - 2 pieces

AS always, verify the fitment before making a commitment to the parts - i bear no responsibility for giving you wrong part numbers!!!
