Clicking sound coming from dash.

Hello,

I am new to this forum and am glad I came upon it. I have a 94 325i convertible with 69000 on the clock and just purchased a 05 X5 4.4. The X5 is making a clicking noise coming fromt he dash. I think it might be a speedo cable but im new to the BMW repair family. The 325 is a pleasure car and has needed no fixing. Thanks

there is NO speedo cable in the BMWs... give us more info about the clicking sound - does it come on when the A/C comes on? or the windshield wipers? or, when you are going over bumps?...
give us details...

this is double jeopardy - you have truck being remote to you, and then relay the info to us for remote diagnosis... lets wait until you get the car in your hands... that way it will be less stress - women usually don't like to explain things right: i told you that nothing works!!! but honey, does the engine come on?... yeah, it does... but nothing works... but honey, can you drive forward? yeah, i can, but nothing works... blah blah blah... been there there, done that... lol...
