Tyre Control Inactive

I'm getting a Tyre Control Inactive message on my dash, now my E53 is 11 years old so I assume the batteries in the sensors has failed causing this fault.

I don't really want the expense of replacing 5 sensors so is there anyway I can simply disable the system so I no longer get the fault message??

I think your options are limited.

You can pull the fuse for it I think. See this thread below.

It also mentions how you can hold down the RDC button but I think that only applies if your sensors are actually working. Also, I think there was mention somewhere else that there's a sensor in the spare too?

The best option is probably get coding to remove the option/feature that makes that error appear. So, you will have to try a place that does custom coding not a dealer.
