Engine Failsafe Prog and now a lowrider

Just recently did an oil change about a couple of days ago, everything normal till just about an hour ago. Pull out the driveway, make a turn and bang - Engine Failsafe Prog, DSC, 4x4 light, and also the brakelight goes yellow. Now when this happened, I turned the truck around parked it and turned it off. Now at this point there are no more lights, so i go about my business. I go run my errand and once I get back in, same issue. Turned it off and back on and again drove home. Now unfortunately its sitting lower than my wifes CRV. Where do I begin? What could be the cause?

Could be lots of stuff. I'd start with a search and see which is most similar to yours.

You mentioned you did an oil change recently. So, I would check to see if you knocked something loose. Also try and remember if you had anything happen abnormal weatherwise recently like maybe a cold snap or torrential rains.

Obviously would be great if you can get it scanned for codes at least.

A few to get started.

yours is facelifted... on prefacelifted, the oil filter is above the ABS module, and when filter is changed, the oil can spill over the module and contacts... is it the case in I6?
your symptoms suggest the ABS module is not happy... many reasons for that...

Well, I didn't care if he has a facelift like mine.

I just knew there were different causes. Bad battery, alternator, sensors, cables, IAC, modules, etc.

Its the lowriding that's unique I believe.

Don't remember touching anything else when I was doing the oil change. Everything seemed to be fine for a couple of days and my daily commute is about 70 miles. We've had some rain but no ridiculous changes in weather. I am wondering what the engine failsafe has to do with the suspension dropping? Why would that combination show up? And would any of those issues cause the suspension to drop?

Also no bluesmoke or any of the other issues in those threads. For the most part its driving fine but I can clearly feel the drop and am wondering if this could perhaps be as simple as a fuse.

Well many of the modules and sensors are interdependent so no surprise there. Determining which one(s) is(are) causing the problem(s) may not be that easy, if not impossible, without getting it scanned.

Easiest way is obviously get it scanned. Do you have access to one? If not contact pnoyako85 I think he's near you and maybe get you hooked up.

If you were local I would offer to connect it to the laprop GT1.

I've been going to advanced auto that has a small decent code reader. Not sure if that should be helpful with this. So far its given the correct codes. They won't clear them though (probably liability I'm assuming). Will give it a try anyway and post back the readings later tonight when I can take it there. If it gives me nothing then I will definitely contact Pnoyako85 for some further help. I hope its a simple fix - its 30 degrees outside.

I honestly don't know. Where and how can I check and report here? I've noticed the pump in the trunk area by the spare. I also checked the sides of the luggage area for fuses. I found it to read - Air suspension - Fuses 79 and 87 (both of which are good). Also said check another number on the other side but I could not find it. I may have to get to the pump visually to get a better idea. Thanks.

If you got the air compressor in the cargo area you have the rear airbags at least.

In the front just look behind the front wheels. If you see coil springs then you don't have air struts - so you only have air suspension in the rear. If you see a something that looks like a shock and rubber bag on top and no coils that is the air strut.

I just assumed you had 4 wheel air suspension because you mentioned its now a lowrider.

So, is it lower at all corners or just the front or just the back?
