You did it wrong then. No question. Power washers have Zero effect on Plasti dipped surfaces when done correctly on a clean surface. As for the previous question of it lifting where the index cards are. Leave the cards in for all your main coats. Your last coat remove all the index cards immediately after you spray when the dip is still wet. That will stop it from sticking and peeling the edges. At least it worked for me on my buddies car. We did his winter rims back in august 2012. Through all the buffalo snows and salt and grime. Too many delta sonic visits to count and thousands of miles traveled, they still look as good as they did on day 1.

THATS THE DAMN TRICK!!!!

I dont mean that the pressure washer blasts through it. It lifts the side.

The first time I left them in for all coats and then removed after drying, which is why they lifted a little and then it got worse.

When i Fixed them I sprayed right over into the tire to get ALL of the rim, but when it lifts from the rubber and i try to cut it, again it starts lifting.

That makes sense to have one light coat so its wet and pull the card so it dries all the way around the edge.

Thanks!

No prob man. Also if you don't wanna use the index cards and your just gonna spray the rim/tire. Put a super coat of tire gloss on the tires. MAKE SURE ITS ONLY ON THE TIRES!! PD will not stick to it and you wont have an issue of a seam where it contacts the rim itself.

Personally I don't even see a need for the index cards.. All of the overspray I had either came off with a microfiber cloth or after the first hand wash of the tires.
