Google maps and bluetooth
Having used Google maps on my iPhone 4S over the previous years
I was satisfied that it did the job. However yesterday on my iPhone 6 it opened up a new way of doing things I was not aware of. Found the address I needed tapped directions and the iPhone as always spoke "proceed to the route" from the iPhone speaker. Then there was a pause, the radio was silenced and the next instructions came from the X5's audio system. When the instructions were done the radio came back on until the next instruction, and that process continued until i arrived at my destination. For me it was a surprise that the iPhone 6 and google maps was most likely using my Bluetooth to transmit the directions thru the X5 audio system wirelessly. Now why can't I play my music that way. Hmmmmm
