X5 Steering - Your Thoughts?

It's kind of a pointless topic, but I'd like to know what you guys think of the steering of the X5? Most bimmers actually, I've had people drive my car and ask me how the hell I drive with such a stiff wheel lol. I personally can't drive any other car with that loose flimsy feel anymore...

X5 is not as stiff as E34 used to be, too soft... E39 is between E53 and E34... my wife's E90 ('11, M package ) is stiffer than E34 - but she said, she likes stiff ones!!!!

bimmer is supposed to be stiff, otherwise you will not have the trademark road feel... like Harley - it is supposed to be noisy!!!

Your wife likes a stiff "activity vehicle" as well eh??

The road feel is what makes it the Ultimate Driving Machine, thats why we love them!

It's normal. Personally, I really like the feel/weight of the steering.

My wife actually prefer the E39 steering feel. She said her E53 steering isn't "stiff" enough.
