Rick, read this thread and follow the diagnostic procedures listed, including testing the sensors at the module which is shown in this thread. 2002 Should still be Bosch 5.7 if I'm not mistaken. After changing brake lines to the rear of my 2003 X5, I got the "trifeca lights" after 10 minutes driving. I initially believed it could be due to air in the system, and I have three times for the last two weeks been bleeding at every brake caliper, and also out from every line of the ABS module. The ABS is working normal(tried at slippery gravel) after every start for around 10 minutes driving, then the lights come On. Any ideas why this happens? If there is a faulty wheel sensor, I would expect the lights to appear immediately? Thank's for any replies ! UPDATE : After changing a couple of wheel sensors, working my way around all wheels, still no improvement. Finally I tried to loosen the Brake Press sensor at the Abs module area, with my son pressing the brake. Bled out trapped air, and voila trifeca solved. Last edited by haueri; 12-28-2014 at 08:10 AM.
