Not a bad price for the 4 rotors Tiag! That ebay link is the set you bought? Jeez all this talk about brakes is making me want to get myself a new set so mine can look factory fresh too LOL!

Do you know if the Cool carbon pads would work for the M54 as well? Looks like the rotors are for 3.0 and 4.4 fitment.

Yeah, the price is what made me do a 100% dimensional inspection prior to installation. The CC pads and wear sensor from BavAuto exceeded rotor cost, never done an install where the rotors were lower cost then pads.

Cool carbon makes the pads for the M54, BavAuto has the best price.

Having driven one week/full tank fuel after washing, I can say the CCs produce VERY little dust. The polished alum wheel lips would be black with that much time/distance and OE pads.

Just be aware that the Cool Carbon pads produce light color dust that will show on black finish calipers. The OE pads produce dark dust, I would only do black calipers/pad carriers if I were replacing pads with OE or semi-metallic.

Drive carefully, seem when they have stories on the news about cars flying off the roadway at high rates of speed, they go to video footage of the accident scenes and the cars usually have black wheels. Just had one a few hrs ago in Ft Worth, car went airborne, flipped, crashed thru a house. Seems black wheels cause vehicles to go out of control and wreck big here in TX.

Small world indeed! The "time attack" redline rims, saw that on the news close-up as they were dragging it upside down from the house. The child strapped into the child seat survived with just a few scratches, that's unreal when you look at the carnage.

I'm heading out to Frisco for an SRT All Access invitation only Viper Time Attack/Track Pack driving day on the 22nd. You can bet I'll risk the "black wheel" curse.........Hope I don't make the news!

Really! Just got my conformation package from SRT group. Can't wait to get behind the wheel.

They even have an endurance race spec GTS-R for $500,000.
