AC Cooling Fan Question

Hey guys,

This weekend when I using my AC I noticed that the fan was never kick on. The AC still ice cold I wonder should it be kicking on and off if needed. I did the test by turned it on wax and looked to see if the fan is moving, it tugged and that about it. I found a replacement fan on amazon Evan-Fischer EVA24672034475 and wonder if anyone have this installed and how reliable is it.

i know in my case that the a/c worked ok without the fan until i had to stop in traffic, then the a/c couldnt keep up, thats when it really needs the fan to keep air circulating at slow and stopped situations.

from my experience as soon as the a/c clutch engages the fan also starts up.

i have a problem where the a/c wont kick in till the car has been in motion for a few minutes, and while my electric fan is good, just replaced it, it wont start until the a/c clutch engages also, so somehow they are interconnected

I installed the Aux fan last weekend. The new fan is now kick on when the AC first on. I bought the Dorman 621-213 Harmonic Balancer and it perfectly fit. Took me half a day to finished the job.

I brought a Behr fan when I did mine. The original fan was manufactured by Sieman.

This is why my fan didn't work any longer.

Looks like someone dropped a bomb on the northwest corner of the fan.
