Yes, There is a slight improvement and it's better shown in person than iphone pictures. Depending how old the tail lights are it might be better to just replace them as the stupid LCM connections on the tail lights get corroded. I've already replaced the sockets and sanded down the corrosion and applied a kit to prevent corrosion but will end up replacing the tail lights soon as the problem comes back once in a while.

Hi guys, sorry to dig up an old thread. I wanted to know if anyone would like to chime in, what is that inside haze/build up of the lens? when i run my fingers over the outside lens, it's smooth. but looking inside, it looks rough. Is this haze build up or what? would any of the suggested restor kits fix this such as meguires or 3m?

thanks again and apologies..

Sounds like repetive condensation inside the lens. only way I know would be to take the lens apart, something I have to do in the near future..

Yup. I had water spots by the corner amber pieces on the inside of the lens.

Edit: if you find yourself having issues with moisture in the headlamps, check the vents to make sure they aren't plugged.

hay thanks for the tips. i was wondering is it possible to remove the lens? for the 2005 3.0 stock. some have said its mostly outside probably the deteriorating uv film.

i also find it hard to think that interior would be perfectly clean. i will deff check the vents.

i have ordered the 3m kit cant wait to get to it.
