Looking sharp! The 4.6 is a beast

What trim/interior do you have? How many miles? Cheers,

welcome!

In my opinion although i love the 4.8is I somehow heart the 4.6is more, its more "visceral and raw", again in my opinion. what a beast and I don't think you need the wifes approval to delete resonators to unleash the sound, its your ride right?

and before you ask i'm married too so I know what you mean about approval, but when it comes to your ride and inexpensive mods (deleting resonators under 200 bucks) you have the final say!

Well...I actually got the X5 for her...and I told her if I'm gonna find one it has to b top notch...and there was no way I was gonna a minivan! LOL
So...I started searching....and searching....and searching! Saw a couple but...some were to far away, and the ones that were kinda close where still iffy, I hate driving so far to b disappointed. I actually saw this one on craigslist and saved on my phone for a couple days.
I really wanted the blue color...but hard to find. Anyways, I showed her the pics on my phone and she agreed we should see it...why not? That same day we had already spent about 600 miles and 8 hours of driving around shopping for vehicles...actually minivans. Uggghhhhh
Long story short...we practically bought before we even test drove it. Private sale from a very good owner who is an enthusiast also, which meant a lot....not to mention his "other" toys he has in his "garages"...yes...he had three 2-car garages on his lot!

2002 with the dark wood trim...Idk what u call it...120k miles. Navigation, rear DVD, 6 disk CD and DVD changers. He showed me the Dinan air box and said it was ordered from the factory with that...I think it might have a Dinan tune also?? Or maybe I'm just wishing...the thing is a beast! If u wanna see his "other toys" just ask...cuz I was snapping pics all over his lot! He didn't care...haha...and he gave me a bunch of free goodies he bought for the truck for free! Nicest item was a brand new front rim! Wow...this guy was cool and we hit it off like good friends. Gonna keep him close as a friend ....maybe I can get another "toy" from him...LOL!

welcome aboard, diamond!!!
that is a nice looking truck you got there!!! from what i know about Dinan, it is a factory approved aftermarket tuner that can be installed at the dealer - not sure if it can be installed at the factory... come to think about it - why not... do you have your as-built sheet for your rides? it would tell you what was installed at the factory...

Thanks everyone! I feel like this is a good site I have joined, I have been browsing around and searching some items out for maintenance and after reading a lot of post it seems people here are true and honest.
Maybe its cuz we are a lil older than the "other" forums cuz we have families and drive SAV's? HAHA...idk but it feels like there's a good group of people here with great minds and heads on your shoulders.
