Advice needed for combining repairs

I'm in the unfortunate situation of having a leaking oil filter housing gasket, leaking steering fluid hoses or reservoir, and needing to replace the oil separator and hoses. My question is this: Does it make sense to do all of these repairs in the same session? I've started the OSV repair before but got frustrated with getting everything out, so I gave up. I have a hunch that getting the oil filter housing and steering fluid reservoir out of the way will greatly simplify getting the OSV and hoses done.

As always, any advice is greatly appreciated!

Almost forgot... I have an M54 engine.

Thanks!

I just got went through everything you listed.... back in February i left my car at the shop for two weeks. oil leak from housing gasket... might as well do preventive maintenance... CCV-PCV system overhaul and upgrade to cold weather kit. All belts, pulleys... M54 been running strong after that. If your X is near or past 100k than go ahead and do everything.
Good Luck. Next time i'm in the greenvile area I want to see that X running.

Do them together will save you some repeated works. Also while you're at it, do VCG, Spark plugs, vanos seals, clean your MAF, ICV, and throttle body.

I'd also like to hear advice on whether or not to remove the intake manifold for the OSV and hoses replacement...

Anyone?
