				MAF sensor pole

There are two schools of thought about what to do when the MAF sensor fails. Which camp are you in? Did you replace it ? Did you clean it? If you cleaned it how approximately how many miles before you had to replace it?

I cleaned mine about a year ago with the MAF cleaner... no ill effects to date.

I have always replaced it but this last time I cleaned it for the same reason you mentioned. I have the larger Dinan aluminum casing. I have never found a source that I thought would provide an OE meter so I could just replace that part. It seems to run fine but I can't get it out of my mind that it would run even better if I had gone the new route instead of cleaning it. That's the reason for the pole.
