Hi everyone...I have had an issues with removing the door panel top plastic piece that hooks to the door with 5 metal clips??
On mine the glue from the factory came loose probably from me pulling on it to get those 5 clips to let go of the plastic section.
Does anyone know what kind of glue BMW uses to hold this plastic section onto the back of the door panel or what would be a good substitute??
Thanks for any help
Alan

Here are some pics.

Yes that could be what BMW used to secure the parts together. But to me it looks like some sort of yellowish epoxy.
But it could be hot glue. Using hot glue may be hard to do since it tends to set up pretty fast. There is a lot of area to cover.
Thanks

A bit of info on this link, about removing and re-attaching the armrests.

I suspect searching on door trim removal will yield details as well.
