how near is the paddle to the turn signal stalk? anyone got a pic?

Only if I would have known about this DIY few months ago... I recently upgraded to E46 M3 steering wheel (standard, not SMG). Paddle shifter mod would have been something I would have enjoyed. Not sure if you can modify and add shifter to standard wheel.

There is plenty of room . There is a picture in the write up. I have others if that doesn't help.
