Post Wash Photoshoot!

Went for a spin after giving the X a quick wash; and once fueled with some Starbucks...I found the Nikon kickin around in the back . Unfortunately, It was only packing a telephoto lens, but here's what I managed (Disclaimer: Since old man winter refuses to friggin die, our roads are still dusty as heck...by the time I managed to find a spot the X already had a ton of dust on it!!!).

Cool car, nice pics!
I like what the tele does to foreshorten perspective, make the X look squatter, etc.

Looking good with nice stance. Roof rail deleted is my next project.
Background is still a tad too sharp for telephoto lense.

OP, you just proved to me once again, how great your car looks... i think its' got the perfect stance... how rough is the ride? also are you running a stock exhaust with 4.8is tips or you installed a new exhaust all together?

I agree on the roof rail delete - makes a huge difference... just did it on my car last weekend - looks like a totally different car.... now if i could only lower it without sacrificing the ride...

As for the ride; since I set my system up a bit differently than the factory system 4.8 system (details of which are probably to complex to get into for the purpose of this thread) IMO it's miles better than the factory non-sport setup my truck came with originally. Its a bit firmer, sure, but definitely remains comfortable and well mannered for daily use!
I guess i will be sticking to my sport suspension for now...i know that air suspension can be problematic, but the options it gives you.... one day, one day...

I retained the factory 3.0 system as I like how discrete it is. To install the 4.8 tips I had a set of Y-pipes whipped up to which we welded a flat 1/4" steel flange with the appropriate circles cut to slip the outlets of the Y through. It was all welded from the back side before being welded into the tip itself. I did it that way so you can't see through the tip....a more 'factory-ish' look one could say.
I have been debating about either to install a full new exhaust or just go for cosmetic change... looking at your car, i think that having just the tips installed should do the trick for me, thanks!

OP, sorry for hijacking your thread... i am done now
