wing mirror assembly
Hi,

A few weeks ago, I bought this repair kit for my wing mirror


I could only find a use for the house and the two gear pieces. Has anyone got a picture of the wing mirror disassembled showing all these pieces to be replaced. The vendor I bought them from was not as helpful.

I recall seeing some Youtube videos of a fellow in SE Asia showing dis-assembly and rebuild.

yes,

I saw the videos but he only makes reference to 3 of the 6 pieces in the picture. I would like to know where the other gear parts come from

The repair kit is for both sides and the folding feature gears.

the repair kit is for one side. They told me to buy one repair kit per side. As you can clearly see in the picture, the 5 gears supplied are different

Stand corrected. You only need the three gears to repair the mirror. I think the rest of the gears are for the folding feature?
