2002 X5 4.4 oil leak

Hi all,
I see few oil drops daily on my garage floor, my mechanic said it looks like the PRESSURE HOSE ASSY, so I ordered the two hoses with part number 11427504295 & 11427504294 and after I bought them he said he can't change them because he can't see the other end which is connected to the engine.

My question now, is it doable without taking the engine apart? Can I do it myself? How much should I pay another mechanic to do it? Anyone had to change them before?

Thanks a lot guys.

Not saying that this is the medication but sometime it's just the clamp to replace.
It happend to me last month when I had some leaks from a few places. Mine is a 2006 with 70 miles and the hoses are in a good shape but the clamps were lose...My mechanics changed them all... No more leaks.

Need to find a mechanic that knows how to work on BM Trouble U, not Gomer on Mayberry.

Which hose are we talking about?

Agree with upallnight....from my post (attached) 2013 to date i've experienced several leaks - valve cover, sensor position(4) coolent hoses.....you have to wash the engine area and remove the plastic cover under engine. drive a week and bring it to ur mechanic...he should locate for sure where is the leaks....

Actually this problem is fixed, I had to change hoses number 6 and 7 on the diagram, plus the power steering hose, all of them were leaking. Thanks for the replay
