E53 MK4 DVD laser unit change

My DVD navigation unit in X5 E53 2002, MK4 is struggling to read maps. It is giving message loading...but nothing will happen.

I suspect laser unit might have gone. Sme time back, I come across a thread in this forum, has instruction about replace laser unit. Instructions were along with pictures.

I am trying to see the same thread but I could not find it.

Does anyone have the details of this thread. If yes, pls post it.

I am looking for instructions to change laser unit on MK4 unit.
