I got it last week, works very good, I just setup my ride height from scratch and deleleted all my codes, and reset my tranny and TC adaptations

SSSProgman is so much more user friendly, but not as powerful as NCSExpert. It was intended for dealer-level coding, while NCSExpert was used for factory setting. SSSProgman is also much slower but pretty safe to use. Be very careful with NCSExpert if you don't know what you're doing. Modules aren't cheap.

That's basically what I figured. I know just enough to be dangerous when it comes to a lot of things, and that includes this kind of software. I think I'll be steering clear of NCSExpert for now.

I bought mine from bmwfanatiq too. Quick communication, every time. Helpful guy. I plan to use mine on an Apple Macbook running Parallels, we'll see how it works. Haven't received it yet.

You can run inpa with the software for diagnostics, and get NCSExpert running to do coding on the modules. Lots of research to be done beforehand though as its a complex program to learn. Good luck!

Well, here's the thing - see, there's the economy approach as many of you (alright, "us") have taken.

For the crowd that's gotta have the "stuff," though, I note that whatever this is, for just shy of $1M (yep, sure enough, that's a dollar sign!), this thing oughta give you warp drive and stealth mode to boot!

I'm not so sure the translator for the screen shot did quite as good a job as intended, though.....

When I borrowed the GT1 I booted up SSSProgman and it was very easy to use, I was going to try to activate my rear fog line to get the rear fogs working but it wouldn't let me code the module since I disabled PDC (I could put the fuse back in and retry but I was limited on time and figured that I wouldn't be able to code that anyway without NCSExpert)

But SSS was very easy to figure out, I watched when my car was coded with NCS and lets just say I was glad I wasn't the one doing it!

hello, this time I bought the KDCAN cable from bmwfanatiq but bought it directly from the website BMWMOTION
I like the new setup as it's done from a menu, last one had to be installed manually by reading and watching some videos, great tool
