I like the looks inside and out but I don't understand the X5 getting bigger each time unless the X3 will become the size of generation one with an M option.

IIRC, the new X3 is almost the same size as 1st gen X5

ALMOST... I have an E53 and an F25, and you can easily tell the difference in size when you're inside. Getting 3 adults in the back seat of the F25 is a real squeeze, but not an issue in the E53. Plus the room behind the seats is wider in the E53.

I am guessing there will be other colors if you are interested in a purchase.

Lemme think about this... Choose between being shunned by this great community, or losing my awesome job at the world's greatest car maker... Gee, that's a tough one...

All kidding aside, I'm sure everyone can understand that I'm not really at liberty to discuss what I know. I could be shown the door quite quickly. I have mouths to feed and an E53 to maintain...

Sorry, but this bird ain't singin'...

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
Completely understandable, the forums just want the "inside scoop", i'm sure its risky enough posting that you "may" know something as I'm sure big brother scours the forums trying to keep a lid on things.

While you're at the plant, could you tell BMW NA to put the front decorative skid plate back into production? I can't find one anywhere!

Sounds like an excellent small business opportunity. Tooling to produce them might be expensive, but maybe there's enough interest to make it profitable.

can you just look up a part number for me and let me know if any more are going to be produced?
