Were you able to remove the pump without triggering the DSP/Brake lights? Currently, with air suspension removed, I get the 'Suspension Inactiv' but don't get the other lights unless I disconnect the pump in the spare tire well. I'd just like to free up the space.
I talked with the dealer today, they were very friendly and forthcoming. The quote was $190, two hours at their reduced hourly rate. Normally they charge me anywhere from $50-$135 for coding, so I ran
this procedure by them and they said they did not have the software onsite to do this. I've actually heard someone else report that, don't really know if it holds true but no reason not to trust them. They said they had to request a code (ZCS?) AND new program download for my car from BMW NA. They would actually download the whole new program, I guess instead of just switching the option. They did said the process with phone calls to BMWNA and download times might take a full day.
Anyone in NC had this done anywhere but the dealer, or at the dealer for that matter? Is Killcrap still providing codes? Appears he may have been at one point. Finally, can PA Soft do this with the right code, GT1, dealer only?
I've searched and read but find a lot of conflicting info on the topic. Any input appreciated.
