I had my alternator opened up chasing a low voltage problem, mine was a Valeo too. Changing brushes involved replacing the entire voltage regulator. Shop had a whole bunch of Valeos for different cars and it seems this is the norm for Valeos. No part number either, sorry.

TTGTR. Take off the alt, go to an alternator shop, and have them match up the brush for you. And FYI, valeo and Bosch alternators have not changed design for like 50 years. So i am sure almost any valeo brush will work.
But I am not sure the regulator is just a brush holder. There is some crap on it that thing other than the brush. Also if you have never taken apart that brush holder snap cup, i can almost guarantee you breaking it. Plus, you will need a fairly powerful soldering iron to re-attach the brush. It's too much really. For a $100, the job takes 30 min.
