Great! I'm sure it will come back as good as new. Addison is a long way for me but good to know another option.

Where are you located?

I work in Las Colinas and live in North Richardson. The incident happened at Loop 12 and 183...if you are familiar with that area.

Located about 7 miles South of 380 not far from Eldorado Parkway in Little Elm. I had an apartment in Las Calinas in 02 that looked out over the water, great area. Have been though the loop and 183, I would expect there was too much traffic to get out of the way even if you had time.

Construction trailer with a backhoe came off the hitch on a dump truck today on Loop 12 just south of 183. I almost didn't have the room to get out of the way. Not enough road for all the cars anymore. Glad your vehicle was the only thing hurt.

Well dealing with the insurance to not total the car has been a massive pain. A few cosmetic issues and they don't think the car is worth it.

They really don't care yo pay for this. Asses.

So the 4.6 bumper, anyone have item numbers for that?
Also, same question for a good head lamp upgrade?

Ah ha! Thank you. Much less than the 1200 replacement cost for one from OEM.

You could let them total it and buy it back w/ a salvage title... or just take the settlement and buy a different X5

I am heavily considering that. But I want them to bring the value up from $6,100 to around 7500-7800 That would possibly be a down payment on a new x5

$6,100 sounds low to me too. Negotiate!
