He's back!!

So after being gone for about a year since I've no longer got the white X5, I recently picked up this little guy - 2001 Bmw X5 4.4i For Sale In Federal Way WA - Boyko Motors I bought this for what in all honesty is going to be my winter vehicle since I've still got my 1998 740iL6, 2001 Suzuki TL1000R and then the rig I bought before getting rid of the last X, a 2002 Harley F150 w/ a fully built engine and bigger Kenne Bell supercharger that has turned into my play toy.

I'm not a fan of the tan interior, but it is nice and bright in the summer time sun w/ the sunroof open, so I like that. The differences between this one and the last X is that this one has projector headlights, sunroof, subwoofer and CD changer, but no sliding cargo floor. It was a consignment vehicle from a "BMW guy" from what the sales guys had told me, so he had added some software added to increase gas mileage (I've yet to confirm that), supposedly he did something to the blinkers to make them flash twice (I've got no clue) but what I do like is that he did the euro option of being able to roll the windows up and down via the remote, and I don't mean by turning the key in the hole Crossdrilled rotors (front only, not sure of the pad), shifts smooth as butter, so fingers crossed this one doesn't give me the transmission problems the last one did. Suspension parts seem to be aftermarket, but it rides great, so I'm not going to address anything there until after I get lowering springs. I noticed an arm on the front control arm that controls the self leveling headlights, but they don't move at all, so I've gotta look into that. I'll most likely clean up the iForged 20's and sell them so that I can get another set of X6M wheels since I liked that look much better.

Fortunately I've still got parts left of from the last X, so soon enough it'll be getting an Android double din again, MTX JH300 amp powering the a custom fiberglassed sub enclosure w/ a Kicker L5 sub. It'll also be getting CCFl angel eyes again w/ E46 an E46 dimming module (angel eyes come on and off slowly w/ the doors locking/unlocking, interior lights coming on/off, etc) and LED interior throughout. All three clusters have pixel issues, but the MID/radio will get relocated into the glove box, so I've only gotta worry about the dash and heater controls...which also happen to need a few hot and cold buttons :-(

Anyways, hello again and looking forward to integrating back into the community again. Anyone happen to have a pair of www.xoutpost.com stickers left over...I still like the original name better

Welcome back!
I code those extra features (comfort closing with remote, double flash hazard...) on both of mine. Pretty easy to code the GM and LCM.
I have some extra buttons laying around. Let me know which one you need.

yep i like the cream interior to,when i was looking i wanted the cream interior, feels more spacious than the black, but i couldn't find the right options that i wanted so settled on a black interior.

absorbs a lot of heat here in Queensland Australia
