New problem with drivers door and alarm.
I am having a problem with the remote though. It will lock all the doors, but not arm the alarm. Then it wont unlock the drivers door, but if I push it twice the rest of the doors unlock, but still the drivers door stays locked. Any ideas? I did just change the regulator and motor, and made sure all the connections are good. I can operate everything like normal from the drivers door controls.... |

There's obviously something wrong with your driver's door lock actuator if it is not unlocking. It's not clear though, if this issue started before or after changing the window regulator.
![]() And how did you determine that your alarm isn't arming? How do you go about trying to activate the alarm when the vehicle is locked up? Are you aware that the "clown nose" (the red LED below the interior rear view mirror) is the visual indicator for the DWA system (anti-theft alarm siren system)...and observing how it flashes can determine if there's a monitor remaining open when the system is supposed to be armed...perhaps this can help you find an issue: ![]() ![]()

I just assumed it wasn't arming because normally it locks, flashes the lights and beeps.
Now it will lock and arm fine. It will not unlock the drivers door with the remote. I'm thinking actuator.... |

something is binding inside... pop the trim open, and make sure you did not miss snapping any clips into holes or things of that nature
