I have an x5 with 130K miles on the clock, I had a new trans at 96k over 5 years ago now, I have the dreaded 2-1 rolling stop problem I D , doesnt happen in SD , seems like an engine rpm / software problem, engine and trans both have the latest version, I have looked everywhere in the DIS , for IDLE ajustment and cant for the life of me find it, increasing the basline by 100 rpm would fix this for sure. When I reset the adaptations the problem goes away for a while as the engine idle is slightly higher. Also the trans is seeming to get harsher and harsher, one can only assume that zf or who ever rebuilds the trannys for bmw did a bad job, I am considering pulling the damn thing and doing a rebuild and TC replacment.

I know they replaced the TC with the tranns , as I saw the new one on the floor at the dealer which came pre filled with fluid.

Any one chime in on this would be gratefull as I have spent hours and hours searching this one.

i can't remember all the steps, but it for sure is in dis. you can increase/decrease by 10 rpm increments. All I can offer is that it only shows up in expert mode. It has been so long ago since I have changed it on my other car.
