Looking for good indie shop in NJ

Hi guys, can anyone recommend a good indie shop in or around Toms River, NJ? I need some work done on the X (valve cover gasket, oil pan, maybe water pump). Ideally they don't rape you on parts prices, have reasonable shop rates and don't charge book rates for simple things.

Advance Auto and Tire in Keyport, NJ Jason and Janet are the owners and they do ALOT of BMW work and his prices are very very good. Advanced Tire & Auto Center | Aberdeen, NJ | Serving friends and neighbors for the past 16 years!

He does a lot of headache work for BMW of Edison, Freehold BMW, and Circle BMW.

Absolutly! Without hesitation. If there is something I can't do.. I would take it to Jason and Janel before the dealer. Jason and Janet's shop is a test facility for manufacturers. last month... Nissan provided him with new test equipment before it was given to the dealers and he trains the area techs on the software. When you walk in, there is a Snap-On work bench in the office... the cabinet if filled with every diag tool under the sun. Straight from MB, BMW, Audi, Chrysler, Ford, GM, etc... I mean when dealerships cant figure it out, he gets the work.

His shop is also spotless, all of his guys are very clean, and respects every car that comes in. I've had my X in there multiple times and never a problem. My 4.8 has only been in there for tire related stuff... but the 4.4 has been in there a few times for things I couldnt do because I wasnt around so I had my pop take it to them and it has always been good.
