I purchased my BSW speakers several years ago but at that time I needed nothing to make the upgrade, I just pulled the old speakers and replaced with BSW speakers, no alterations. I was not attempting to get to audio heaven but I certainly recognize they are much better speakers.

Yo Naz open up that door panel and pull the speaker pod out. Most of the times, what goes its the sordering points from speaker to connector plug. Do that before ruling out a speaker. If it is the speaker, I still have my OE ones in storage I believe you can have'em.

Here's an alternative that you can explore:

These guys will repair your speaker for a reasonable price.

My subwoofer from my LX470 blew and these guys repaired it 35 shipped.

Received my speaker from eBay. Actually a fellow forum member: lemans4.8. I have yet to install them

I think i have a front right door speaker that still works, i though i blew it because there was a sound like a rattle but the new speaker didnt change that much so it was probably something else. i also recently learned my rear right doesnt work at all so thats a bummer

Hey Cisco can you post up pics of what to check on the soldering? I have a solder iron and will help Naz out with this as I'm suspecting that might be his problem
