The angel eyes are H8 bulbs, and you can get LED versions off ebay for about 50 bucks, the optics of the rings don't allow for additional brightness, but you can get a whiter look. For your fogs, you have reflector fogs so I would go with the H11 Hoen Xenonmatch bulbs, I used them for years on my Volkswagens and never blew out a bulb (I wipe them down with alcohol prior to install)

trust me, you WILL see a difference from the fresh Philips bulbs, let me know how you like them!
Yes the DRL is the one that stays on during the day as well it is the inner one. Ill talk to my mechanic to turn that off.

I ordered the hid bulbs and will post back when I install them. thanks.

RB, I had the new Philips bulbs installed on my lowbeam xenons, they look awesome, thanks. I also had the shop delete the DRL lights (middle ones) when the car is turned on and lights are off. However the corner yellow lights are still on by default, can this be deleted as well?

Glad to hear

The corner lights are your parking lights and should come on when the key is in position 1, or when your low beams are on. The parking lights can be disabled but you need coding done for that (although I'm assuming the shop coded your DRL off already?)

OP, disregard my previous post and get the D2S bulbs (from which you can choose many other kinds!) If I already made you place an order please call them to pause it!
Hello Ricky Bobby

Well, if you missed the answer in post #11 in this thread...then there's another current thread discussing the HID bulbs for the facelift as well as the description of what the "K" ratings mean...like 4300k vs 6000k.

Here's a direct link to the other thread...take note of post #3: http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...66-what-k.html

No problem...and good luck. It's not easy to do if you don't remove the bumper cover...not impossible...but not easy. There should be a link in one of the threads that shows how to remove the bumper cover which isn't difficult and makes accessing the torx screws to remove the cover for the HID bulbs much easier if you have headlamp washer jets which prevents complete removal of the headlamp assembly.
