OBD II not recognized? Solved

Hi folks.
I have a Peake scanner (for quick scans) and the GT1 & INPA laptop, both scanners working flawlessly on my e53 & e39, as well as on some of my friends BMW's, different models.
the problem I'm having, they don't work on my 2006 e46 - 325ci standard with ZHP trim.
INPA/GT1 do not recognize the car at all, and Peake throws some mystery "codes" (if you want to call them like that), without any meaning - they do NOT exist in the Peake tables.
Not sure what the issue is. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I forgot to mention: My friend's GT1 / INPA also doesn't work on this e46 (Fmugur) - his laptop is different than mine, but works also with my other vehicles, just like the other scanners I have.

Perhaps you are using a Can Bus reader when the car has a K-bus system.

OK, I fixed the issue. I checked the fuses, and they were good (2 fuses). Probably the contact was bad, because after I put them back, the GT1 worked suddenly. I posted the resolution, because this might happen to someone else.

Doru,
Thankyou for posting the resolution. You are obviously aware of how frustrating the lack of that info can be

Cheers mate.
