Another one locked out

I bought a used X5 a month ago. The key only worked manually, which I though was no big deal. The door lock broke on me...
Opened the key to replace the battery, yet it was fine. I can't program the key unless I'm in the car, which I'm locked out of. I read in other posts that there is a super simple, no damage way to get in. If anyone can help me with the trick way to get in, that would be great. I have proof it's my X5 if that's important.

Please help
Thanks
