Got Oil Leak Passenger Side HELP!!

Hello all,

I was wondering if you all can give me some input on where this leak may be sourcing? Oil consumption has been super high and just noticed this leak. In the shaded area of the shield is wet oil.

Cool, I'll pick up valve cover seal set and report back with more pics of the process.

Do yourself a favor, and be sure to get the genuine BMW seal kit, not an aftermarket one.

Victor Reinz or Felpro at Autozone. I've always had good luck with these brands. Your saying "no?"

They should be fine. Felpro is made in America.

We are saying no. Get the good stuff for not much more money and never worry about it again

Weird too. Pelican says to replace all 15 nut seals too. OEM gasket with seals is the same price at Pelican as a Victor Reinz at Autozone. Gonna see what the local dealer sells for.

For sure will go OEM as advised.

Nut Seals (15): 11-12-1-437-395-M17

OEM Gasket Set: 11-12-0-030-496-M58

If you've used them before with good results, then I wouldn't be overly concerned. Certain aftermarket products are known to be inferior....either fit poorly, or don't last. Unless its a known "upgrade" from factory supplied stuff (like beisan systems for the vanos) ill stick to OEM.
