While on the topic of Airbags--- 10 years

Rear Airbags on '03 .
Should I just replace the rear airbags as part of preventative main or just wait till she leaks...

I need to get to the rear at some point to figure out my on/off SLS issues. I suspect it's just the sensor

I would wait until they need done. One of my bags is still original, and holding strong.

Both of my sensors have been replaced and I have 0 issues with the air system.

Ed. What made you change the sensors....
I've yet to start the diag...checking ride height and all.

A quick peek and it's showing the sensors voltage not in spec- but this is a on/off problem with just the SLS coming up. Even with the error and looking around, left side looks to be good to go- aka, not riding low

Sensor went bad and one of the bags got over-inflated... POOF.

Replaced the bag and both sensors to be safe.

Mine will be 10 yrs old in a few weeks (8-1-03 build date), still OK.

I have the KW Var3 coilover set in the garage and ready to install at the first hint of problems.
