X towed wrong by tow company - need your help

The As*holes towed the X5 from the rear (lifted) and then since they could not get the dolly's on the front wheels they dragged the X5 for about 20 feet and then they install the front dollies. I was not there and I was clear about a flat bed. Now I saw the X5 and the rear is higher than the normal stance and the ASC, ABS and brake lights comes (all in yellow) on after a mile.
How bad is it?

Unless they had the keys, when they lifted up the truck, the alarm would have sounded. Probably didn't do the transfer case any good by having the front wheel dragged for 50 feet.

The alarm went off and it was 20 feet but I guess the distance is relative
I have the software to check for codes but will see - now i seen the truck and the back has settle close to the original stance. I drove the truck for 5 miles

Was the truck in Park at the time?

My gut would be that you have no damage. Towing that way long term would be very bad.

Yes, the truck was in park

At this time the lights stays off and something the DCS comes on slightly.

The symptom I'm having is that the front wheels feel like the brakes are stuck and it sounds like some squeeling and that the steering feels weird but I only have driving it no more the 45 mph

You didn't say why it was being towed. What was it dragged on? Concrete? Grass? With te front locked, the tires would try to roll putting pressure on the axel back to the front diff, probably into the xfer case and up the driveshaft into the transmission which is locked. Some of this pressure is accounted for in the design of the car, which is why you can park on a steep hill.

However the tires are going to break traction pretty quick with a 10k winch pulling them.

The 20ft part is irrelevant its how many feet was it dragged where the resistance of the drivetrain was greater than the resistance of the tires causing the tires to drag and not try to rotate. I'd be more pissed about them potentially flat spotting my tires.

He's right I think. With the knob off, the interlock releases. You can dentet the tranny into any gear. I know it works in my e36. I just can't recall if u had to hit the brake pedal to drop it past park. The interlock for the brake pin should work regardless if the key is in.

The car was dragged on concrete. the front wells never turned when it was dragged
The car drives and go into gear and changes gears ok.
The lights are off but it is the front wheels my concern that feels the something is locked and make a sound like when you rub rubber against metal and some times smell like burn rubber
I driven the car about 25 miles and no mere than 45 mph
