Time to renew the Suspension parts. any wisdom

Time to renew the suspension parts. Getting really bad tire wear on outside edge of front tires. Tires are somewhat old anyways and should replace the arms before installing new tires.

Any advice on what to change while there? Are the suspension kits from ECS Tuning get all the important parts replaced?

Other part suppliers with better pricing?

Thanks in advance

My X rides fairly solid except for the occasional wobble while braking so thrust bushings are needing replacement; I'll also change the ball joints while I'm at it. With 165K I'll be changing the sway bar links when I get new front struts soon.

Other than outer tire wear what other symptoms are you having? Any squeaking?

As a side note,my X had the Bridgestone Dueler 235/65/17s when I bought it and I almost went with them again but instead installed the OE Michelin MXV4s and I must say that she handles way better. A bit more road "feel" than the Duelers but in good way. The Duelers were very quiet I'll give them that.

FYI- The cause of outside tire wear could be that the front is out of alignment but to answer your question, the ECS tuning rebuild level 2 is very thorough. If you have some time and make sure you are still buying OEM parts you may be able to save some money but building your own kit. The following is a good way to compare price. With a 2003 it's probably about time to seriously consider doing it all, front to back.
