Moezer is on a distinguished road
New X5 OWNER!!

Hello guys, im glad im part or lets say will be part of this club soon as i haven't took possession of the suv yet.

Heres a bit of a back ground of me.

My for first car I had a 1997 jetta GT 2.0, then i sold it and bought a 1999 jetta the mk4 design, sold that when my father got a 1997 328i BMW i fell in love with the car right away, but the car has a salvage tittle on it at as it was stolen and my father got it from the auction.

The 328i sat in the garage for about 4 to 6 months, tell i got all the missing parts from the inside of the car and sold the 1999 jetta.

I fixed up the 328 lowered it put rims catback shark program and intake, and started to drag it in my city race track before it got shut down for good.

After 3 to 4 years i got married and bought a house at the same time, but before i got married like 1 month before i got married I bought my self a 2002 jeep tj. The 328 wasn't really idle to drive in he snow winters that we have here in Calgary Alberta.

So the jeep bug bit me and along came the jeep lift and bigger tires and off roading was my new hobby.

At this time i had the 328i and my jeep tj, also my wife had her own car too, so the bmw had to go, i still have the car now since im having a bit of a hard time or lets say im not trying hard to sell it lol.

My wifes car is a 2006 Acura RSX.

Since we are going to be getting a dog she wanted something bigger, she always liked the look of the x5 2005 and up so fast forward to Tuesday 7/16/2013 we found a good looking 2005 x5 with 88k on it and this is not in miles this x5 was at a land rover dealer.

As soon as we walk in the dealer sales men/women where all busy talking to customers, as me and my wife turn around there stood a sales man welcoming us and asking how he can be of help, I told him we are here to see this x5, he tells us one sec picks up his sheet of paper and tells us he will be right back, he comes back and tells us lets go check this thing out.

We walk out side and take a look at the x5 looked very clean in and out, the x5 was priced at 23000. also its a 4.4i v8

As we got in to the car the first thing i notice is the check engine light im mechanically inclined so i know my stuff, my jeep or the 328i have never seen a shop since i have owned them.

We go on a small test drive the x5 was smooth as silk we get back to the dealer and we go over some numbers i stayed 2 hrs going back and forth on the price and the trade in price of the RSX.

With all my experience in cars and such the sales man was listing to what i had to say and never once tried to over sell me, this was an older sales man with 30+ years of sales exp under his hands he was really open and still is 0 problems every thing i had asked for he has given me.

so we settled on a price of 14951 all fees in plus the car trade in, the x5 has some OZ rims that i hated with a passion i was going to walk out just on the rims alone, so after a bit of back and forth with the manager him self he gave in and told me to go out to his dealer yard and find another x5 and if i liked the rims he will swap them with the OZ rims and tires. At that point i knew i was treated good and being treated good. The pen goes down and we bought us an x5.

So the next day i went over to the dealer and told them i want a full inception on the x5 and i want it done at the bmw dealer and not their dealer, they agreed, the land rover dealer also have done an over haul on the ac system.

I went in today to retest drive the suv for a full 20/30 min drive and gave it a good look over my self, I noticed there was oil all over the driver side, it was also noted by the dealer too, so the x5 will be going in to a full inspection at my local bmw dealer, with in next week the x5 will be in my drive way
