i would give this a shot. if you are worried about 'screwing up' your lenses, don't. if you have the 3M buffing pad, a drill and the meguiars, this is VERY VERY difficult to screw up. i was amazed how forgiving the combo was. lenses never got hot while buffing and it only took two or three passes. i would SERIOUSLY give this a think unless you really just want the new look....which is a different story.

Okay!!! This is next on my list of mods. Thanks! I always get something for me at Christmas, so a 13 yr birthday present for my X5, this will do just right.

I can ditto the 3M lens polish kit. Just mask off all around and get a spray bottle of water. Then put the clear plastic (separate buy) on to protect it. Like brand new.

Can these types of lights be used with cars that are already HID? Do they accept the the HID bulbs?

Which types Kessler? The Spyder lights would have to be baked open and your stock Xenon projector swapped in but it's an easy swap.

The other junky aftermarket ones are made for halogens. Except for Depo lights they make a D2S version which takes xenon bulbs with no baking necessary

I Like these... probably the only ones I'd really want to use over the stock ones.
