Left Rear Suspension Lowered

What would cause only the left rear suspension to lower?

The Self Leveling Suspension Inactive error message is being displayed, however I do not have that option installed.

Will it be a problem driving on it until next week when I can get it into the shop?

It will make your air pump work extra,it may become noisier after that,at least noisier.

If its sagging significantly I'd highly recommend you not drive it unless absolutely necessary, as riding around on a deflated bag has the potential to create some serious damage in the likely event you bottom out.

If you replace the left side air bag, you should also do the right side at the same time.

This is common, I also had this on my 04 4.4.

I noticed if after i started the car and heard the pump work, i walk up to that fender and pull up on it and wait a sec and my airbag began to inflate.

I kept driving like that till i hit a bump, which it then deflated again.

IN MY opinion and the way i did for a few days, i think its safe to drive, just carefully.

^AS LONG AS you remove all the airsuspension fuses so the pump quits trying to work so the pump/accumulator wont fail which would be much more expensive/

Well first, you should always replace the air suspension in pairs because you will always have a variance in height between old vs. new. Plus the r&r is so easy, it would make more economic sense to have both done at the same time.
Second, the left rear of your X is sagging and you have an SLS error, but you are saying you don't have the option installed. It's either you have the option installed or you don't have 4 corner adjustable suspension installed. I believe every X5 in the E53 lineup came with self leveling suspension.

Are you the same person that only replace just a shoe with a hole in the sole?
