Rear hatch lock randomly closing by itself

2005, Sport, having an odd problem with the rear latch. Sometimes it will lock itself after opening it with the fob or center console button. Seems to always happen if I open driver's door, push open hatch button, then shut driver's door. Its like the impact from shutting the driver's door jars the truck enough to cause the rear latch to close on itself.

Also, in the winter months, the rear latch would randomly cycle open and close sometimes. I'd hear a whirring noise from the garage and it was the lock moving by itself!

Any thoughts?
