This may be posted elsewhere but since this thread is on the front page...where do you get the clips from? At least one of mine is clearly busted on my driver's side window. And is it always necessary to replace the vapor barrier?

I'll be doing the whole regulator replacement this weekend. I used a temp fix found on here about 2 years ago, but that's failed now, and I decided it's time to replace the whole stupid thing.
I am not looking forward to it, but hopefully it won't be as hard as replacing that stupid oil filter housing gasket. That still gives me nightmares. |

Well, the last of the original regulators went out at 238,600 miles. That makes number eleven between our 2001 325i (5 regs), 2004 3251 (2 regs) and the 2002 X5 3.0 (4 regs). At least six of them were under warranty, so I've only been out of pocket $2825 for the others.
