Status Report: 3 Months in Garage.

So as soon as i came here the first thing was the Rear was much lower due to the Pnevmatic bags deflating.

The door opened through remote, but no sound came from the ...oh never mind i coded that out.

The compressor started pumping auir into bags but was very loud due to not enough power

Then The alarm started to beep beep beep every second
and then the interior lights started flashing.
I pulled up Moms car and hooked up wires waited a bit and then the car started.
The DSC light came on.
let it run for a bit, then moved it forward about 20 cm to put stress on other part of tire to fix any flatspots then left it over night went to sleep.

In the morning car started DSC light still there, figured it was the SAS so turned wheel lock to lock and it went away.
Also the key quit working but i synced it up again quickly.

Tried to do a small clean up ended up conditioning leather and vacuuming and other stuff. Installed rails for window curtains.
Pumped up all the tires, left rear was deflated more than the others.
Installed new Lic plate frame on front, its Russian and the Euro one i have is a tiny bit smaller but still fits.
Will be ordering the E777KX 36 Rus real russian one today.

(Yes thats oil on the ground) Poured in sone more
I also have a second frame that says Russian Federation In russian im saving for the new plate.
TermX5- Была рамка "управления по управлению всех управлении РФ" Забыл купить всего 45 Рублей.

Got a Detailers Domain Box with the best wash mit ever and some Auto Finesse shampoo ill try out later.

The best part though, Is I powerlocked the whole car and it got to cure in a garage all this time, the car is SUPER SMOOOOOOTH, sadly its raining and i need to go to store, but i dont want rain on car.

Will post some pics from summer in russia in the Lounge later if anyones interested

In over 30 yrs of owning vehicles with leather interiors I have found Lexol PH balanced cleaner and conditioner (2 step process) evxceed the results of any of the dozens of leather product I have used. The Dakota leather in my X feels as soft as the Connolly leather used in Jags during the late 60s. No more static shock when I touch the outside of the door to close it after a long drive.

Ive heard Lexol is pretty good, im currently using Griots, the interior clear ran out but still have some clean/conditioner left i gotta use up first.

Follow up question:

Is it possible to remove the coushins and back from the drivers seat and swap with the passengers seat?

Update: Rain stopped took it out and my problem with the Blue smoke on extended idle Worsened by ALOT! Only 10 seconds at the light and a cloud of smoke already!
Why is this happening? Could it just be some bad gas? i havent filled it up there was still 75% left.
Or is something not yet lubricated enough?

'Bad gas' would be pretty low on list/not a factor, in my mind, for lots of blue smoke.

We have one of our cars 'sit' for 5+ months every year...whichever car it is, it starts fine, (Batt Tender on, Stabil in tank, etc.), and there is zip 'blue smoke'. The car that 'sits' is in a cold azz garage at 5,000 ft elevation, and one is 12 yrs old and one is 13 yrs old. One of the 'sitters' is sometimes a 2001 X5...

Gas ain't your problem...the tech mavens here can list the possibilities, but gas isn't it, imo.

Did you hook up the battery tender for the 3 months in the garage?

I have an uber wool wash mitt too from DD, love it! I use the Adams car shampoo though, my favorite and smells like cherries. We also both use Menzerna power lock, amazing sealant!

Have you ever smelled Griots shampoo? its Amazing
I may try the Sonax polymer net shield they are using and posting alot about after Menzerna runs out. Drove in the rain today and the car beaded like crazy, dried up in parking garage with barely any residue left.
